Students requiring over-the-counter medication (Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.) during the school day MUST have written permission from a parent / guardian. The permission form should be completed in full. Permission forms need to be renewed every school year. Verbal permission will not be accepted.
All medications sent in for your child will be marked as theirs, and will be returned at the conclusion of the school year. For safety reasons, all medications should be brought to the school by a parent / guardian in an unopened container.
The School Nurse will send home a note via the child’s backpack on the day he / she receives the medication. The medication, time, and reason will be noted. Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail the Health Office with any questions.
